FERMUS Project

Monitoring of the fermentation process using low-power ultrasound for the production of high-quality wines.

This tool allows you to monitor and support decision-making easily, quickly and continuously during its most crucial stage.

Enkoa collaborates with the Tecnalia technology center and works together with the companies Unión de Cosecheros de Labastida and Amesguren from the wine sector, Metalúrgica Marina from the goods and equipment sector, and Lanit from the ICT sector, in the development of a differentiating solution for the wine sector, unique in the market, since currently there are no measuring equipment capable of simultaneously monitoring different parameters of the wine fermentation process in a non-invasive way and with wireless communication of the results. Existing equipment provides unique parameters such as brix, density, etc. and they are invasive.

Society also demands more durable, safer and higher quality products at a lower cost, which is why this type of solution are optimal for companies to continue competing in their markets.

At Enkoa, within our iSENSOR line, we develop intelligent sensors of various technologies for the food sector among others.
